Friary Junior Camogie team go in search of All-Ireland glory. 

Throw in 2:30pm in Rathdowney GAA (R32 ET63)


Our junior camogie team will travel to Rathdowney GAA in LAOIS this Saturday 11th to face Convent of Mercy, Roscommon in their All-Ireland final replay. Throw in at 2:30pm.   

These girls have been fantastic all year and no matter the outcome on Saturday, they have done the school, their clubs, their families and themselves proud all year. They would love you support once more and  with 11 of our TYs coming off the back of 8 musical shows they need your Saturday more than ever.

Colleran and Morrissey crowned Munster U17 handball Champions

Congratulations to Rody Morrissey and Daithí Colleran on becoming Munster champions in the U/17 40/20 Juvenile Handball Doubles Championship which was held last Sunday in Nenagh. They were victorious against a very strong Clare team.The match went to a tie breaker but boys prevailed with a score of 11 -1 .They now go forward to an All-Ireland semi-final.Many thanks to their coach Seán Ó Mahony and Br Spring for all their hard work and encouragement. 
1st Year Functional Movement Skills Training

Today our 1st years boys began Fundamental Movement Skills training with Ross Brown. Fundamental movement skills (FMS) are the basic movements traditionally associated with human physical activity. These are a great way of learning the basic movement patterns that lead into S&C training. Our 2nd year boys start on Wednesday with it been rolled out across the school on a phased basis. 

Signed Waterford Jersey Raffle

On Wednesday night, the main prize in the raffle during the TY Musical will be a Waterford jersey signed by the hurling team. Tickets for the raffle will be on sale on the night or can also be bought by students at lunchtime Tuesday and Wednesday in the header. 

Tickets €2 a strip or 3 for €5. All proceeds go to Crumlin Children's Hospital through 'Daithis Cycle for CHI Crumlin'.
