RTE Short Story Competition

Congratulations to Ellie Duffy F3 and Alex Strickland F1. The girls were two of nine finalists out of 3000 entries for the prestigious RTE/Puffin short story competition. Ellie achieved 3rd Place in her category 15-18yrs for her short story "Possessions", a powerful tale of grief and lost. Alex achieved 2nd Place in her category 11-14yrs for her short story "Once Again" a beautifully evoked gothic tale. The girls enjoyed a fabulous day at RTE meeting Ryan Tubridy, Claire Byrne, Caitríona Perry, Anne Cassin, Michael Doherty and author Dave Ruddan. Well done Ellie & Alex.
