PsychSlam Team visit to the Circuit Court

‘Students visited the Circuit Court on Washington St. today for a tour of the courthouse and to observe proceedings. The girls were welcomed and had a private meeting with Judge Brian O’Callaghan, in the historic courtroom where Daniel O’Connell defended the alleged members of the Doneraile Conspiracy of 1829. They were then taken on a tour of the bowls of the court building, examining the cells and long corridor leading up to the dock. Judge O’Callaghan expressed his hope that he will see many of the girls back on the court benches in the years ahead in wigs and gowns.’ In attendance: Angie O’Mahony, Leah Dudley, Maeve Coakley, Abby Lynch, Zoe Burke, Emer O’Shea.
