Badminton - Congratulations

Congratulations to all of the badminton players in the school who have been playing matches over the past few months. Most of the 1st year students had never played before this year! Last Friday, 4th March they played in the Dublin Finals in Terenure and the 1st year team were runners up (Eleanor Kenny, Amelie Silvestre, Kate Higgins and Robyn Costello.) and the 3rd year team won their U16 final (Heather Rothwell, Aoife Ryan, Anna Kellett and Lucy McGowan) A huge congratulations to both teams. On Thursday 10th March, the 1st year team played really tough opposition in round robin format in the Leinster Finals and came 3rd (Eleanor Kenny, Amelie Silvestre, Kate Higgins and Evelyn Mendes Healy..) Well done everyone! Best of luck to our two teams taking part in the U16 Leinster Finals next Tuesday.
