Air Corps Visit 2023

Garda Helicopter visits Scoil Mhuire As part of the events in school this week for College Awareness Week, past Scoil Mhuire teacher, Air Corps Captain Mark Doyle landed the Garda helicopter on the school grounds and students from 5th & 6th yr who had expressed an interest in careers in the Air corps had the opportunity to explore the helicopter and learn about Military career options in a presentation given by Mark. Other events this week included talks on Apprenticeship options, on courses in Technological University Dublin and in Maynooth University, as well as a talk given by past students on career opportunities in INTEL. Information was also distributed on STEM careers and pathways to college and routes to different careers.
