Science week...Day 4...
17 Nov 2018
Throughout the week we had a great team of Form 4 girls, led by Jennifer Organ, who encouraged students to participate in several lunchtime activities. One of the most popular activities was the engineering competition in which students had to build a tower using only clothes pegs and lolly pop sticks. And of course, students never tired of taking part in The Cube competition- including teachers! The science fun was not only kept outside the classroom. Ms. Hill’s Form 1 class really enjoyed making some of the extraordinary oobleck. This non-newtonian fluid, which is solid when pressure is put on it and liquid when no pressure in it, had them captivated. No result in yet on the Form 3 fittest student, Mr. McMahon probably has them still running...!
