Science Week in Ms. O'Donoghue's 5th Class

We had a very busy science week in 5th class! We conducted experiments investigating electrical circuits and the role of insulators and conductors. We also studied how oxygen in the air is essential for fire to burn and learned about the other components of the air we breathe. We studied the human body and the digestive system, and took part in an introductory robotics lesson with Mr. Allen's class! We greatly enjoyed the live science webinars in conjunction with the Science Foundation of Ireland. It was a very fun week for sure!
