All Ireland Athletics Results Posted : 07 June 2022 The All Ireland Schools athletics was held in Tullamore on Saturday. Our school was represented by athletes eager to compete. Form 1 students Erin Lyons and Isabel McCarthy were competing in the age grade above theirs. Even to get to the All Irelands for these girls is a fantastic achievement and needs to celebrated. Tzi Kingston of Form 2 was up against a very tough field in difficult conditions. Matching her PB of 4.65 was a wonderful performance. The future is bright for Tzi. Form 6 student Ruairi Falvey in his final All Ireland schools showed strength and determination to compete in the hardest events, the 400 metres and 800 metres. Over the last 6 years Ruairi has been the model athlete. The schools wishes him well as he leaves us. Max Clover qualified for two events: the triple jump and 75m hurdles. He finished 3rd in the highly technical hurdles. Max was also part of the 4X 100 relay team. Daniel Kent, Aidan Gambura and Jamie Horgan finished in 3rd In 49.22. A seriously impressive time. Congratulations to all athletes who competed through out the year. Keep active over the summer break. We begin our work for next years All Irelands in September.
