Dear Parent and Guardian,

 We have unfortunate news again regarding ESB power outages scheduled for the BGS campus on Wednesday, 15th March next.  We have tried hard to get the ESB to move this date but it is not possible due to additional works planned in the area.

 We have put plans in place to facilitate boarding students in an off site location where they can participate in online learning, have classroom like accommodation and services required for a school day. Therefore we can proceed with an online learning day for all our students. Day students will have to log in from home and boarders will log in from the offsite location. Teachers will follow the school timetable and take roll etc per lesson. The expectations would be that the student is taking part through google meet/zoom and following the learning as directed by the individual teachers throughout the day. 

 There will be no after school activities on Wednesday, 15th March 2023. 

 Boarders will return to campus at 5.15pm for dinner and prep as normal. 

 School will resume on Thursday 16th March at 9am for all students. 

 The school closes at 4.00 p.m. on Thursday 16th  for St. Patrick's weekend. Reopening Monday 20th for classes at 9.00 a.m.
