TY Rotary Young Adult and Young SVP classes were delighted to welcome members of our local community to join us for an Intergenerational Coffee Morning. We were very pleased to welcome local groups such as The Kilcullen Gospel Choir, Kilcullen Community Action, The Bridge, Kilcullen Knitting, Lions Club Kilcullen, Kilcullen Pitch and Putt Club and TY Enterprise company 'Self Care Packs'. We were also visited by candidates in the upcoming election, past pupils Cllr Suzanne Doyle and Martin Hayden TD and Kilcullen resident Anita Mhic Gib. As Political Education is one of our TY subjects, students were delighted to engage in debate about their concerns and views on our future government.
It was a very sociable event where the delicious baking, tea, coffee, fascinating chats and the chance to learn more about our lovely town and just some of the many groups that enhance life as a Kilcullen citizen were enjoyed by all. We are looking forward to holding a similar event in the future.
