We look forward to welcoming all 1st Year parents/guardians on Wednesday 25th September at 4pm in the GPA for an information session relating to 1st Year. There will be tea and coffee served afterwards followed by a brief Parents' Council AGM at 5.15pm. Original birth certificates and a parents' report of CAT results will be available for collection at sign in.

We are now in a position to offer a second TY trip this year. A form detailing the TY Trips is live on the app under forms. Please complete this form if your daughter is interested in attending a TY Trip to Lake Garda or Camino de Santiago. Please note this new form replaces the previous Lake Garda form.

Friendship Week 

The first few weeks of the new academic year present a great opportunity to make new friends or reconnect with former pals. This week is friendship week at OLS. There are activities happening in the GPA throughout the week, so be sure to join in and make friends!

Enjoying the last of summer

Summer is on its way out and our students are soaking up the last bit of sun. Last week, 3rd years completed their habitat study in the the sunshine (see photo gallery). 

Lego Donations

A reminder that the school librarian is seeking Lego donations for a new Lego-focused lunchtime club at the school. Donations can be dropped off at reception during school hours for the attention of the librarian. Lego donations of all shapes and sizes are welcome!

The school library is starting a Lego Club every Thursday at lunchtime and we need more Lego to make it successful! If you have any Lego you're looking to get rid of, please consider donating it to us. Lego donations can be dropped off at Reception for the attention of the Librarian. • HOCKEY
• It was a busy week of hockey training for our teams as they continue to prepare for the beginning of the Leinster league season which will kick off at the end of September. Our coaches spent more time working on combinations and using the pitch time to help in the decision making around team selections. The girls have put in super work over the last 6 weeks and the strength in depth across all of the years is fantastic. We are excited to begin testing ourselves against the opposition in the next week or two!
• Next week see's our Junior teams go up against Wesley College on Wednesday afternoon in OLS, game one is at 2pm and game two is at 3pm. Until then, we will continue with our inter squad selection games.
