Well done to the 6th Years who held a Bake Sale on Monday 13th January in aid of A Lending Hand charity. They the purchased much needed hats, socks and personal hygiene products for the homeless. Last night they visited a soup kitchen in the city centre where they handed out their purchases, talked to those in need and helped clean up after the food was handed out. Well done to all the girls involved in this wonderful act of kindness.
Yesterday, our Houses also settled on their charity focus for the coming term as follows:
B house Irish Cancer Society
C House Make a Wish Foundation
L House Temple Street Hospital
M House Ronald McDonald House
P House Alzheimer’s society of Ireland.
