Child Safeguarding/Code of Behaviour Reviews

We are completing our annual review of the school's Child Safeguarding Statement and Child Safeguarding Risk Assessment. Both of these documents and their annual review are mandated by the Child Protection Procedures for Primary and Post-Primary Schools 2017. Both documents are available on our school website and attached below in a single PDF for your convenience. We are also reviewing our Code of Behaviour, which is attached below in the second PDF. We invite parents/guardians to forward any feedback they may wish to have included in our review process to admin@olschool.ie before Friday 15th February. Many thanks.

Well done to all TYs who took part enthusiastically in their Development Days Wednesday. The B4s and C4s learned self defense, L4s have now received their qualification in 1st aid, and P4s learned how to edit and make movies in their workshop. Reminder: All copies of passports for students going on the China Trip should have been left into office by this evening. A few notices for the week ahead: Monday: Maths exam in morning, followed by Irish exam, followed by Chinese. Sign language classes will continue as normal. No sign language song practice this week. Tuesday: English exam in morning, followed by Hike. Bring warm clothes, suitable shoes and lunch. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: Classes as normal.
