The Children's Books Ireland Awards ceremony was held yesterday where the Shadowing video featuring our Book Club members was shown for the first time. All of the attending authors commented on how articulate the girls were. L4 poetry on display in Tallaght library

Poems and stories by students from L4 will be on display in an exhibition in Tallaght Library following workshops with poet Colm Keegan. Katherine Webber, author of the award winning YA novel 'Wing Jones' was in the library this afternoon speaking to some first and second year students. Katherine spoke about the trials and tribulations of becoming an author and advised us to not give up on our dreams! She was so generous with her time considering she is in Ireland for the International Literature Festival doing a YA panel on Saturday. Details below.

TY subject choices are available to complete on VSWare. Please do so by Wednesday 23rd May. Your daughter has been given a handout explaining each subject. This is attached and also available on the school website. Your daughter was also given information on some potential trips next year. Please return expression of interest slips by Friday this week.
