Day 3 in France

Today the TYS had lessons in History, Geography and Spirituality as they visited the Valley of the saints where there are currently 94 granite statues of Celtic saints . A morning of beautiful views. This afternoon students spent time with their families. Reports all are well.
Day 2 in France

The TYs we're on a trip today to the town of Guingamp. They also visited the football stadium of Roudourou in Guingamp where they had a tour of the stadium and saw the players train and met the players . In one photo they are with the South African player lebogang Lelani Phiri. Tonight they are partying in the local a community centre. All are well.
First Year Study Day

A reminder, as per exam calendar all First Year students will have a study day, at home tomorrow Wednesday 29th Nov. Exams will resume for first year on Thursday.

The TYs went on a historical and cultural visit to the city of Rennes. All the students are settling in with their families and are managing well. The group were joined by their classmate Aisling O'Connor who travelled to France today.

U 19 Boys' Basketball

Congratulations to our under 19 boys' basketball team who had great wins this moring against Dingle and Causeway. Tarbert hosted the games and well delighted with the result . Best of luck boys in the next round.
Transition Year Irish Dancing Classes

TY students have taken part in Irish dancing classes every Tuesday since September as part of their rang Gaeilge . Recently they were able to put these new skills to good use when they taught the first year students some rince Gaelach during our Lá Gaeilge 24.
Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement (JCPA)

The JCPA will be issued to Fifth & Transition Year pupils in December. The Department of Education have published an information leaflet for parents/guardians of students who will receive a Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement (JCPA) award from 2017. It can be viewed on the School App or via the School Website @ www.tarbertcomprehensive.ie/junior-cycle/.
