2nd Year students received a visit from Fr. Bala Bollineni, a Jesuit priest from Andhra Pradesh (Telangana) State in South Eastern India, helping us to mark Catholic Schools’ Week. He is building a programme in Vijayawada, his local city, which will help young adults to achieve their potentials, in third level education, growing English communication, skills, and assisting with apprenticeships. He gave a wonderful presentation to the boys. Mr. Mulvihill said that he hopes this will mark the beginning of a permanent link between St. Michael’s College, now in its 140th year, and the Youth Empowering Service - Jesuits YES-J, which is off to a strong start.
