The daa is committed to apprenticeship training and is offering SIX training placements to people interested in a career as a Tradesperson: 2 fitters, 2 electricians, 1 carpenter and 1 agricultural mechanic.

Dear Parent/Guardian,
Our school will not be having a Secondhand Book Sale this year. Therefore, the only books that we will be accepting is the return of Third Year Book Rental books as outlined in the message to Third Year parents/guardians. Please contact local bookshops to establish if they can resell any surplus books that you may have, or advertise online.
Kind regards,
Padraig Nolan

Dear Parents/Guardians,
As you may know I am retiring from Scoil Mhuire at the end of August. I therefore take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for the support and encouragement I have received from you and the entire school community. I am very grateful to the kindness and goodwill afforded me by both parents/guardians and students throughout my time as principal.
I would like to pay tribute to the BOM, the teachers, office staff and my management teams I have worked with in Scoil Mhuire. Their personal dedication, contribution, commitment and collegiality has been a mainstay of the success of Scoil Mhuire for many years now.
Departing such a wonderful school after nearly 17 years is tinged with some sadness for me as I bid farewell to colleagues, friends and people who I have had the privilege to work with for many years.
I am honoured to have led this school which makes a huge contribution to the local community.
As I wish you farewell over the next few weeks, I say a very warm and heartfelt thank you.
Kindest regards
Padraig Nolan
