Transition Year

TY students are timetabled for Work Experience every Friday for the school year 2020/21.We are aware that it may prove difficult to secure a placement(s) in these challenging times and that some employers may be reluctant to take on students. Many students have already found placement(s) and those that haven’t can be actively doing so.The usual 3 placements can be replaced by 1 or 2 if need be for the moment and are not restricted to particular dates.Students should email their placement details ( Students Name/ Employers details/ Dates if possible) to Ms A Pender at workexperience@staugustines.ie .All forms (Insurance etc) will be given to students on return to school.A letter from employer should also be submitted to Ms Pender confirming placement.
