Today we held our first Student Council meeting and the following pupils were elected to the following positions.

4th and 1st Class Reps Kate Duggan and Cillian O Connell
3rd and 2nd Class Reps Tessa Enright and Daniel O Regan

Senior Infant Reps Aoibhinn O Hanlon and John McAleer
We discussed many important items on our agenda and enjoyed a lovely cup of hot chocolate!

Hot School Meals Delay

Dear parents,
Unfortunately there has been a delay with the commencement date of the Hot School Meal Scheme.
This is not down to the provider. Our current electricity supply cannot cater for the ovens required to heat the meals. We are working with the Department and the ESB to rectify this as soon as possible. We will update you as soon as we have further details.

Another busy week in Spraoi 3. Irish dancing, Our visit to the library, in the forest collecting leaves, seeds, shells and everything else Autumnal for our art and class display.
Kilbrittain NS Musical

Dear parents,
We are delighted to announce that our school musical will return on the Monday the 9th and Tuesday the 10th of December in the Community Hall at 7pm.
This year we have decided to do something a little different and perform “A Disney Medley” where we will combine some of Disneys best known classics for 2 wonderful nights of entertainment.
The work has already begun and the children are very excited to get the chance to perform for you all!
We are also delighted to announce that for the first time ever, children from 1st class will get the opportunity to be part of our school musical. Please note that 1st class will now not be performing a nativity on the 16th of December as originally planned.
The musical will be as follows:
1st/2nd: The Lion King + (5th/6th Chorus)
3rd/4th: Moana + (5th/6th Chorus)
5th/6th: Beauty and the Beast
Both nights will be an all ticket event and details about ordering and purchasing tickets will be announced shortly.

Some super creations from all again today. Our project cars were completed successfully by our senior group. Next week will be focusing on a Halloween theme.
Scaith na Scol Results

Unfortunately both teams lost their respective games today against Ballyheada NS.
They played very well and showed a great attitude and spirit until the end of the game.
That is the end of the football competition for the boys and girls and we will play in the hurling side of Sciath na Scol in March.
A special thanks to Mr O Donovan, Ms Ryan, Ms Rigney and Mr Phillips for all their hard work with the team over the last few weeks.
