Our TY PE class enjoying their Mountain Biking this week as part of the Adventure Activities component of the SCPE Framework

On Monday, those who sat their Junior Cycle exams last June participated in the Planet Youth Survey. This survey asked a variety of questions about students lives and their attitudes towards various societal issues. The Planet Youth Data provides an opportunity to learn directly from our young people about what it is like to grow up as a young person in County Cavan.

Our TY students currently in Germany as part of their exchange programme enjoyed a day trip to Heidelberg yesterday. They are enjoying better weather then our students here in Ireland!!

Our TY students are on their German exchange this week. So far they have enjoyed a Welcome party organised by German host families, a visit to Karlsruhe Palace and visiting Europe Gymnasium; our exchange school in Rheinland Pfalz.

Congratulations to our U16 Camogie team who came out as winners in their first group game agains St Clares Ballyjamesduff last Friday. The team will now progress to the Ulster Semi Final - details TBC

Well done to all those who participated so well in the Geraldine Dolan Memorial Schools Cross Country in Oldcastle. As always they represented the school very well and thanks to St Brigid’s Athletic Club for organising the event. A great day was enjoyed by our girls from Loreto.

2nd year students opened their pop-up swop shop today. Students have been learning about alternatives to fast fashion and how they can shop more sustainably!
