Our TYs enjoyed their final day in school last Friday before they head off to their final work experience this week.
5th Year had an afternoon of Wellbeing Activities yesterday to finish off their year, an enjoyable day had by all.
TYs had a very enjoyable visit to Ulster American Folk Park this week.
Our 1st year students participated in an orienteering activity this morning which had been organised by the Head Girl Team to mark the end of their first year in our school. We worked in teams to solve a number of clues around the school grounds. We were very lucky with the weather. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Well done to all our athletes who took part in the Ulster schools Athletics over the weekend.

A special day as we were joined by Brendan Fay from SOSAD in Cavan to raised our Amber Flag for the first time. This flag recognises the efforts of the staff and students of Loreto College Cavan to create a healthy and inclusive environment that supports mental health and well-being.

Our U14A team have just completed a clean sweep of Ulster titles for Loreto College Cavan in the 2021-2022 academic year.
Congratulations to the team and managers Mr Maguire & Ms Casey who defeated OLSPCK today on a scoreline of 6-08 to 3-01.

Ms McCaffreys wonder goal was the difference in the much anticipated Student V Staff Soccar match, with Mr Holland recieving player of the match. Well done to both teams on a very competitive game, word has it the students are already in training for next year!

The TY Class of Dochas finished their Food Safety Module with an online assessment this morning. During the last 10 weeks the students have studied the safe food for life e-learning food hygiene course. If successful students will be awarded a certificate in food hygiene endorsed by the Environmental Health Association of Ireland. The certificate is valid for five years. Well done to all.
