Congratulations to our TY students guided by Georga, Conor and Fergal of Food School Newbridge on an amazing evening where over seventy diners enjoyed delicious food in beautiful surroundings with fantastic service. The process began last October with design and planning of both the venue and menu. The group worked so well together which was evident to all and acknowledged by the standing ovation they received when being awarded their certificates, booklet and congratulations.

4C Cultural Trip to Dublin

4C enjoyed a fantastic cultural trip to Dublin. We started with a fascinating tour of Trinity College where Mark our guide explained the history of the college and some of the many traditions that continue there today. We then visited the National Art Gallery where we saw beautiful works such as Liffey Swim by Jack B. Yeats, The Taking of Christ by Caravaggio and a wide variety of portraits, of which we couldn't agree our favourite. After a lovely lunch and the fastest shopping on record we headed to the Archeology museum on Kildare Street, passing Leinster House en route. We saw bog men, beautiful gold lunas and the Ardagh Chalice. It was a very interesting experience. Thanks to Ms Whelan and Ms Groome for accompanying us.
