Dear parents/guardians,

I hope your son/daughter is settling into their subject choices now.

I received a small number of emails seeking to be added to waiting lists for some subjects. As previously notified, most classes are full and I will be only be in contact if a place becomes available for your son/daughter

Unfortunately, I can not exceed the permitted number allowed in practical classes for health, safety and insurance reasons, so unless somebody leaves a subject there is no space in the class.

The following subjects (Business and Art) have very limited space available so if your son/daughter wants to see if it is possible to switch to one of these, please make conatct with me on joeleonard@cpckilcullen.com

Best wishes

J Leonard.

Following teacher nominations, I would like to congratulate all those who were presented by Mr Leonard with Certificates for Student of the Month, Excellence, Application to Study and Cooperation Awards. Thank you to Ms O'Malley, who assisted in the delivery of the presentation on Spiking Awareness, which is a prominent issue at social events currently. THE FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
The Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is celebrated on
December 8th. Many people believe that the feast celebrates Jesus’ conception, but in fact
it celebrates Mary’s Immaculate Conception; the fact that Mary was, from the very first
moment of her existence (her conception), without sin, and chosen to be the Mother of
Jesus.
This feast is a holy day of obligation.
Mass is available in Kilcullen parish church 9:30am.
