Dear parents/guardians,
1st year students received their subject options this morning.
You will appreciate that with 144 students and 7 subjects, it is a logistical challenge to try to accommodate the preferences of the students. Invariably some subjects will be oversubscribed and we are limited by the class capacity numbers as well as physical and human resources.
We have worked hard to try to get the best outcome for all students. I am delighted to say that every student has been given their top choice.
Most students will be delighted with the outcome but there could be some who would like to be added to a waiting list should a place become available in a particular subject. If this is the case please send me an email to joeleonard@cpckilcullen.com and I will contact you if a change becomes possible.
I wish all of our students continued success in their studies.
Kind regards
J Leonard
Students really enjoyed our Barista Training with the Dublin Barista School. The tutors Nina, Karl and Adam explained how the machines work and spoke about the job opportunities available to baristas world wide. It was a very valuable (and delicious!) experience.
We took part in Think Languages 2023, a nationwide initiative to encourage language learning in schools. Our Transition Year MFL students did a Polish Dance workshop, competed in a nationwide online quiz & did other various workshops in their language classes, including a Chinese Art workshop. Congratulations to Matthew O’Gorman and to Harry Coogan who won one of the quizzes. Many thanks to Ms Rowan and to Ms Quinto for organising many of the activities.
