As it is Valentine's Day this month, the Charity Committee are raising money for the Irish Heart Foundation. We are holding a fundraising event with all proceeds going towards this amazing charity. We will be selling Valentine's Hearts with a gift attached which we will deliver anonymously to recipients in time for the big day. It will cost €1 to send your Valentine's memento and it is a lovely way to show people are thinking of one another while also raising money for a worthy cause. These will be sold during the first half of lunch all of next week!

After this week's Fighting Words was cancelled, we are delighted to announce its return. We look forward to our first in person workshop in two years taking place in March.
Congratulations to two of our TY’s, Emma Tisdall and Clara Kinsella who qualified yesterday for the Leinster Cross Country finals in Santry on the 16th of Feb. The very best of luck to you both!
A very well done to our Digital Champions Ella McCabe and Rachel Vaughan who completed their Safer Internet Day (SID) Ambassador Programme this week. We look forward to hearing more from them during Internet Safety Week.
All our TY’s have been busy planning their second and third work experience placements. Next week will see their final preparations for these.
After pooling together their ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ ideas, today our TY’s started acting! We hope to see many of our students be kind and brighten up someone else's day, either inside and outside our school community. Students will have the opportunity to share their experiences as both an actor and recipient.
This week TY students had the opportunity to sign up for "So you want to become a Doctor?", hockey coaching and partake in the Amber Flag picture competition.
Next week we look forward to The ShoutOut Student workshop. This is an interactive, dynamic and informative session where the facilitators explore LGBTQ+ terminology, scenarios where students can act as good allies, and ways in which to create a welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ students.
