The Junior & Senior camogie teams were delighted to get their first run on the new astro pitch during lunch yesterday. It was great to see so many of the girls participating in sport at lunch time and getting involved!

This week we made bookmarks and bracelets! All the girls got very creative with their designs, make sure to look through the gallery and see the girls in action! Remember you can still sign up in the library.
Academic support classes

Academic support classes have resumed in OLS. If any student would like to attend/ sign up to any of the classes being offered please email Ms. Treacy (ctreacy@olschool.ie). Spaces in these classes are limited. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday the classes run from 3:50 until 4:50pm. On Wednesday the classes run from 2 until 3pm. This timetable is subject to change but any such changes will be communicated to the students via the Google Classroom (Code: izgi24i).

Please see below for information from the Ad Astra Academy: The Ad Astra Academy offers scholarships in Academia, Elite Sports and Performing Arts. Applications are currently open for the Elite Sports and Performing Arts Programmes and will close on 31st January 2022. Applications to our Academic Scholarships will open on the 1st February and close 21st August 2022. We will be hosting a live Q&A with three of our current scholars from each of our programmes next Wednesday, 19th January at 1 PM. Each scholar will explain what made them apply to the Academy, how they found the recruitment process, the best part about being in it and of course, to answer any questions/queries that you may have! This would be of great interest to fifth and sixth year students, parents, guidance counsellors, or for anyone who would like to find out more.
