The TY ASF class ran a successful Walkway Week on the week of the 30th of November to the 4th of December. This event encouraged everyone to get fresh air and keep active during their lunch and break times at school and inspired a competitive house atmosphere between the different houses. The girls in the ASF class created a theme of Stepping into Christmas for the week and celebrated this by playing Christmas music around the walkway to encourage people to get out and get walking. They also prepared a Christmas music video (below) that was shown to the pastoral care classes to promote the walkway as a fun and enjoyable way to keep active. During this week, 3,008 laps were walked by the all students and teachers, with the M house winning with a total of 1068 laps. We had a great response from all teachers and students!
