Due to the new government recommendations on school sanitising products the school had to replace certain products. These will be fully in place by Monday in time for the return to school.
Students are asked to bring only the books they need for Monday as new lockers were installed over the break and will need to be reallocated to allow for appropriate social distancing. Students can bring the remainder of locker items in on Tuesday. We aim to allocate lockers to 2nd Year students later in the week.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to a new term on Monday after a restful break!

Well done to all the students on a fantastic week. For the girls out on work experience there was lot of positive phone calls and your employers spoke highly of the skills you were learning and the initiative you used. For the girls who partook in the work experience alternative in school, well done on getting involved and getting all your certificates. Lots of different work went on this week and your teachers all commented on how willing you were to complete your new tasks.
Please see some notices below for after the midterm break.
1. There are class chances in both Irish and the Drivers Ed/ Leadership/ Philosophy & Drama subject. Please remind your daughter to check her google classroom for her class changes.
2. Sign language classes will be starting on the 3rd and 5th of November. The class lists are listed on the google classroom. The payment is now available on easy payments. Classes will be concluding at 16:30 approx on the assigned days.
3. Toastmasters should be starting the Thursday we return after midterm. List of students attending was posted last Friday on the google classroom. An update will be posted on the google classroom upon our return to school to confirm this.
4. Your daughter should ensure her ePortfolio is up to date. After her work experience she should include the matching write up and employer evaluation. If he attended the alternative programme in school, she should do a write up of her experience.
All students should reflect on their goals that they set for term 1. These goals will be looked at during PasCare the first day back and new goals will be set for term 2. Your daughter is encouraged to reflect on her progress of her term 1 goals as she has to evaluate them as part of her ePortfolio.
5. A notice from the enterprise class in regards to TY Hoodies:

7. Students interested in partaking in the LIFT leadership programme must email Ms. Phillips their interest by Monday the 2nd of November at 16:00. If your daughter is unsure if she is interested, she can speak to Ms. Phillips after midterm or visit the website posted on the google classroom.
