Mr. O'keefe's Geography class completed their Fieldtrip on deposition and transportation in a fluvial environment. Despite the heavy rain yesterday and last night and despite a bus breakdown the Fieldtrip was said to have been a good success with the revelant information now gathered the write up can begin.

Bin It Roadshow

As part of our “Schools Green” Schools initiative, our First Year pupils will attend the “Bin It” Roadshow in the Library today. The focus of the presentation will be upon litter, waste and the correct disposal of chewing gum.
Snr Boys Football

The Snr. Boys football game scheduled for tomorrow will go ahead. The team will depart at 12:30pm. All players are advised to have gear and mouth guards for match.
Junior Girls GAA

Congratulations to our Junior Girls GAA team on winning their first outing of the year. The girls played Castleisland Community College in a hotly contested event and won by 2 points at the final whistle. A big thank you to Ms. Carrig and Mary Barry, Muirne Wall and Eimer Walsh for coaching and assisting the team.

Mr. O'Keeffe's geography class field trip scheduled for today has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. The field trip will be rescheduled and details will follow.
‘Nourish By Nature’ - Sid Sheehan

Chef Sid Sheehan will offer a series of six demonstration cookery classes on the following dates: 11th, 20th & 25th of October 8th, 15th & 22nd of November Classes will commence at 7.15 pm.
