A quick reminder:

Thursday 24th August:

11am 6th year prefects
12pm All 6th years registration

Friday 25th August:

9.20am 3rd year registration 

10am 5th/LCA1 year registration 

11-12.20pm 1st year registration 

Monday 28th August:

8.40am-10.40am 1st year Induction 

9.20am 2nd year registration 

10am TY registration 

Tuesday 29th August:

All classes 8.40am-1pm

Visit from the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Ireland

Thank you to H.E. Andrej Droba, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Ireland, for his visit to Mount Carmel Secondary School on Monday. He has presented the school with a beautifully commissioned print symbolising famous landmarks in Dublin and Bratislava to celebrate the 30 year anniversary of their embassy in Ireland. The Education Centre for Slovak Children has been our education partner for many years. We are proud of this partnership.

Well done to all the Leaving Certificate students from the class of 2023! Our last examinations finished today. We are so proud of all your efforts. Huge thanks also to our Exam Aide Ciara Weir, Ms Cunningham our Deputy Principal, the SNA Team and Tara & Sara in the office for all your help. Enjoy your Summer students, it is well deserved.

Junior Cycle Students

Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

Congratulations to our 3rd year students who completed their Junior Cycle examinations. Well done and thank you to all the staff who have prepared them for their exams.

 

They deserve the break over the Summer and we look forward to welcoming them back as senior cycle students.

Dear parents/guardians of 3rd/6th students, 

 
Please see below links from the SEC with information on the State Exams beginning tomorrow. 
 
All 3rd Year Junior Cycle, 6th Year Leaving Certificate and 6th Year Leaving Certificate Applied begin their exams tomorrow morning. 
 
The Board of Management & Staff wish all students taking their examinations the very best of luck. Make sure to get a good nights sleep, eat a good breakfast, know your timetable, be early for your exams and give each exam your all.
