Dear Parents/Guardians,
We hope this finds you well. We are writing to inform you about an important health and safety concern that has been ongoing at our school.
For several months, we have been requesting students to refrain from climbing over the school fence at the back of the school, as this poses serious health and safety risks. Despite our efforts, including placing clear signs on the fence, many students continue to climb over it.
To address this issue, we have decided to apply anti-climb paint to the top of the fence. This paint is designed to deter climbing and will likely cause damage to clothing if students come into contact with it. However, there should be no reason for any student to come into contact with this paint if they adhere to our request and avoid climbing the fence.
We kindly ask for your support in reinforcing this message with your children to ensure their safety and the safety of others. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter.
Regards
K. Martin

Dear Parent and Guardians,
The student Neurodiversity Celebration Committee are organising a colourful jumper day tomorrow for all students. Tomorrow is Autism Awareness and Acceptance Day in our school and our student committee invite students to come to school in bright colourful jumpers to participate in this celebration day. The student Neurodiversity Committee have composed informative powerpoints for tutors for each day this week, they are presenting at assemblies and making intercom announcements. They have arranged poster displays in the school and are supervising events at break and lunchtime in the sensory room and in Room 7 for any students who wish to attend.
We are very proud of all their hard work and encourage all students to participate in the colourful jumper day tomorrow. We ask that all students taking part, wear their school skirt/trousers with a bright colourful top and that they donate €2 tomorrow morning at tutor time. All money raised will be used to fund facilities for our school's sensory room and Autism class.
Thanks in advance for supporting this fantastic student initiative.
Kind regards,
Ms Ronan
