Reviewing Scripts and applying for Rechecks

Dear Class of 2022, Again congratulations to you all on your excellent results and best of luck for offers on Thursday. Some of you have been asking about viewing your papers and getting subjects rechecked. Please see the information below: On Tuedsay ( tomorrow) from 5pm you can go on to the portal and see the breakdown of oral, aural and practical parts of your exams. Also from 5pm tomorrow until 8pm on Wednesday you can apply to view your scripts. You will do this through the portal. Viewing of scripts in school is on Sat 10th September ............Viewing of scripts online is through the portal on Sat 10th ans Sun 11th. Having viewed the papers you might decide to get some rechecks. You can appeal your Leaving Certificate results. If you appeal your mark in a written exam, your script will be sent to an appeal examiner for re-marking. Applications to appeal your Leaving Certificate 2022 results will be open from 9am on Saturday, 10 September 2022, to 12 noon on Monday, 12 September 2022. Before the results were published, the SEC will have emailed you a detailed Candidate Information Guide to Results and Appeals. The guide will also be published on examinations.ie Please refer to this guide for further information. Do not hesitate to contact the school guidance team for advice about accepting an offer on Thursday - do not make a hasty decision - get advice first and be sure you are happy with your decision. Huge congratulations from everyone in Scoil Mhuire Community School to all our 6th year students on their excellent Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied results received this morning. Good morning, Leaving Certificate results can only be accessed on the student self service portal today as individual copies of the results have not been delivered to our school this morning. The portal will open at 10am. Support and assistance is available this morning, candidates are welcome to contact us. We will update accordingly throughout the morning. We have an accounting technician apprenticeship opportunity in the local area. It is a 2 yr programme of paid work and training - 4 days a week in work and one day in college. The diploma for Accounting Technicians is awarded on successfully completing the programme. It offers a great start to a career in accounting and you can continue to progress your career with further professional examinations. Dear Parent/Guardian, Just a gentle reminder that your first year student will begin the next chapter on their educational journey this Friday 26th August. Students should wear their full school uniform. Students do not need to bring any school books on Friday. They should bring a copy or notebook, their pencil case and a snack for breaktime, canteen facilities are not available on Friday. School begins at 8.50am and will end at 1.15pm. Bus Eireann school transport will not be available until Monday 29th. However, first year students are not in school on Monday, they will return to school on Tuesday 30th. All dates are available on the calendar on this App. We are looking forward to welcoming your son/daughter to our school on Friday. Congratulations to the Junior Golf Team, Robert Lynch, Jack Gordon and Dylan McBride, who qualified for the Irish Schools Junior Boys Championship Leinster Final. They finished 3rd in the regional qualifier played at Royal Curragh Golf Club on Monday 3rd October.

Dear Parent/Guardian, You are invited to attend the upcoming information evening for your student(s) in the Assembly Hall in our school. They begin tonight for 6th Year (notification send last week) and are spread over the next few weeks. All meetings begin @7pm. Please view the calendar on this App to establish when the meeting for your student is scheduled.
