Junior Girl's Rugby

Today our Junior girl's rugby team had their first ever outing in the Munster Junior cup, where they played Ardscoil Mhuire Limerick in UL. They played a thrilling game which ended with the result going the way of the Limerick side on a scoreline of 43-36. Well done to all players, some of whom had only picked up rugby recently!
Fashion Show 2024

What a fantastic night of glitz and glamour on Thursday night as our Fashion Show took place in the school. Parents, students, staff and special guests strutted their stuff on the catwalk in front of a pack house. A huge thank you to everyone who made this night a roaring success!

Students must select the Other Areas of Learning and Other Areas of Wellbeing that they wish to include in their Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement. Please discuss this with your son/daughter and complete the form that was sent to them in Teams by Friday 24th January.

Girl's Basketball

Our 1st year girls had their first game today against Presentation Killarney, they won by one point in a very exciting finish, well done to everyone involved and thanks to all the enthusiastic panel that travelled, 2nd years lost to Presentation Killarney but showed great team spirit. Well done all!
Junior Girls Soccer Blitz

The Junior Girls soccer teams took on teams from Pres Castleisland, Pres Listowel and Killarney Community College in our second blitz of the season. The girls demonstrated some super skills on the pitch, with lots of goals from both teams. The day was a big success for all involved including players and our brilliant TY referees and officials. 1st Year Parent Teacher Meeting

Good evening all, Just a quick reminder about the 1st year Parent Teacher Meeting tomorrow evening from 4.15 to 6.45. For some parents, this will be the first parent teacher meeting attending the school and may not be familiar with the running. There will be a list of teachers and the rooms they are in when they enter the main door of the school. It would be helpful for you to bring a list of your child’s teachers and the subjects they have them for.

If for any reason you are unable to make it, can you please make contact with the school to let us know.

Rearranged 1st year Parent/Teacher Meeting

The 1st year parent/teacher meeting, which was postponed due to the weather the week before lasr, has been rearranged for Thursday, January 23rd, from 4.15 to 6.45pm. Classes will finish at 3.45pm to facilitate this meeting.
Kerry Schools Cross Country

Well done to all our athletes who competed at the Kerry Schools Cross Country on Friday with some fantastic performances. ISK had a 1-2 in the junior girls race with Ciara Moore taking the gold medal closely followed by Lara O Brien Leahy in 2nd. They were joined by Alice Eagar and Evelyn Bowler to take the team silver medals. Lily Riordan won gold in a very exciting intermediate girls race with Nell Thompson coming 5th in the same race. Joined by Sadbh O Halloran, they also won the team bronze medals. Finally Dara McCarthy won an individual medal coming 4th in the senior girls race. Congratulations to all.
