Reminder to parents and students of the upcoming table quiz on March 25th! Organised by the Parents Association this promises to be a great night for young and old to work those brain cells! Starting at 8pm in Killorglin Golf Club who are generously providing finger food, tables of 4 are €40 for adults and €20 for students and there will also be a raffle on the night, see you there!!!

The Parents Association are organising a family quiz night on Saturday March 25th, and would be very grateful if any parent could donate a
prize either for the quiz itself and/or the raffle. Students can bring prizes into the school office.

South Kerry Development Partnership in collaboration with Jigsaw Kerry are offering a free workshop for parents on ‘Supporting Young Peoples Mental Health’. The workshop will be held online via zoom on March 13th from 7 to 8.30pm. Learn Strategies and tools to promote and support young people’s mental health, information on Jigsaw Kerry and other services available to support young people and you as a parent, carer or guardian.

Congratulations to Ruairi Murphy, who was part of the UCC senior football team that won the Sigerson cup final against UL last after extra time. Commiserations to David Mangan and Gearóid Hassett who were with UL.

Our U15s bowed out of Munster after a very brave effort away to Newport today. We went 1 down before Gio McCarthy equalised but Newport nicked a goal a little against the run of play in what was a very good game of football. Thanks to all players and parents for all the commitment all year with a group that have improved massively. Keep enjoying your football. @faischools @faireland
All-Ireland heartbreak for basketballers

Hard luck to our gallant u-16 Girl's Basketball team who were defeated in overtime by 2 points in the All Ireland ‘A’ Final today in the National Arena. They gave a fantastic account of themselves, both players and coaches can be extremely proud of their efforts. A special mention to our brilliant supporters who travelled in numbers and drove the girls on right until the end.
