Congratulations to all students who competed in Kerry Colleges Cross Country Meet in Killarney. Ciara Eager in first year came 2nd in the minor girls and Colm Evans second year came 3rd in the junior boys . All competitors did really well on the day .

Syria & Turkey Fundraiser: As a community response, schools in Beaufort, Killorglin , Glenbeigh and Milltown are having a “ Syria Turkey Solidarity Day “ on Friday 3rd March to raise vital funds to assist the people affected by this devastating humanitarian crisis that has hit Syria & Turkey . The staff & pupils of the ISK have decided, as it is also 'Seachtain na Gaeilge', to hold a 'Céilí Mór' on the Hockey Pitch on Friday 3rd March. We will endeavour to teach the entire school community 'The Siege of Ennis' and will hopefully have a record breaking line of dancers on the day. The school's Trad group will play for the dancers. As this is a Fundraiser for the people of Syria & Turkey we are asking all pupils to bring in €2 on the day. Thank you to everyone in advance for your generosity and kindness in response to this devastating humanitarian crisis.

Our 1st and 2nd year girl's basketball teams were away to Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra in Rathmore yesterday, our 1st year girls lost out & our 2nd years fought to the end to win by a basket. Well done girls!

Hard luck to our brilliant junior ladies' football team who were defeated by the narrowest margin in the Munster A final yesterday. A tough one to take but they gave it everything. Thanks to our fantastic supporters who roared them on all the way.

Congratulations to 5th year girls Ava O'Malley and Lily Morris, who are part of the Munster Rugby u-18 squad for the Interprovincial competition. Having played Connacht on Sunday, they take on Leinster in Terenure today. Best of luck, girls! Here they are being presented with their jerseys from former Munster star Donnacha O'Callaghan.

Our 1st year boys took part in a rugby blitz in Tralee today, winning both of their games. There was some great rugby on display and some fine individual performances. Well done lads!

FAO Leaving Cert students: The 2023 Leaving Certificate Candidate Self Service Portal Registration Phase Closed on Tuesday 21 February and will now reopen on Tuesday 28 February 9am – 5pm for one day only. All final year Leaving Certificate candidates must register and activate their account and confirm their subject and level choices through the portal. The SEC Candidate Portal helpdesk can be contacted at 1800-111135 or 1800-111136 will open between 9 am and 5 pm Tuesday 28 February or candidates can email candidateportal@examinations.ie.
