Dear Parents/Guardians, On behalf of the Parents Association we would like to wish your families a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year! In any normal year we organise a few social gatherings, but 2020 has been far from a normal year. We hope 2021 will let us all meet again for a coffee or two! As you might know, the School App has been upgraded and offers lots of additional flexibility around updates and messages. It has the facility for specific groups of Parents/Guardians to stay in touch: stay up to date on latest news from the PA committee and also ask a quick question. If you would like to be included into a group for the 3rd Year please email your interest and consent to gleb@reys.net, we will need your name and your daughter’s name. The RCSI and the Law Society will be running two virtual programmes in February 2021. If you are interested in these programmes I have uploaded information on the your TEAM. Application for the RCSI Mini-Med programme needs to be done directly by the students - see rcsi.eventsair.com/rcsi-mini-medical-sciences-2021/minimed-2021/Site/Register. Congratulations to all our runners who participated in the virtual East Leinster Schools one mile team challenge. Well done everybody! Dear 5th year parents/guardians, We are Caoimhe O'Neill and Yvonne Field, your parent representatives on this year's LCF Parent's Association. Usually we would have already tried to have a social gathering, and would be planning a number of events for next term, but of course at the moment these are all on hold. So in the meantime we just wanted to make sure you have our contact details in case you have any queries or concerns that we could help with: Caoimhe O'Neill: caoimheoneill73@gmail.com Yvonne Field: yvonne@flanagans.at While we can't meet in person, the P.A. are suggesting that we use the School App for communication, as it is becoming the "one stop shop" for all school information. We can set up a "chat group" (two way messaging) for 5th years if there is interest from parents, so if you would like to be included in that, just contact Caoimhe with your email address. Otherwise we will send any relevant info from the P.A. for 5th years as a direct message (no reply) from the app! Please remove items from classrooms.

All items and belonging must be removed from class rooms over the Christmas break to allow for a deep clean. We would ask all students to start to take home items in a phased basis over the next few days, as they finish with a particular subject, to avoid the carrying of large boxes on the last day of term.

All TY's will be heading out Thursday afternoon to celebrate the end of the term. 4 Lynch - will be heading to Dublin Zoo 4O'Connor - will be heading to Jump Zone 4 Ronan - will be heading to The Wall Climbing Gym 4 Taylor - will be heading to Ski Centre Dublin Details of each trip has been uploaded onto TEAMS. Please ensure that you read the information given and sign and return the necessary Waiver, Consent and Medical Forms. These can be returned via TEAMS by Thursday 17th Dec before 08.50. Remember ladies you will be wearing your school PE uniform and you will need to bring your lunch and water bottle with you on the day.

A big well done and thank you to all our 2nd Yr Students who have donated a huge amount of items for SVP. For one year group alone we have been blown away by their generosity. Collection by the SVP will be tomorrow. We hope the rest of the school will follow their lead.
