It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our teaching colleague Clodagh Murphy. The school will remain closed for remainder of the weekend, and there may be a delay in opening next week. We keep Clodagh and her family in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult and sad time. May she Rest in Peace. We will keep you further informed over the weekend.

Due to the Red Weather Alert tomorrow - all schools will close for the day (Friday 24th Jan).  Your daughter needs to check her class teams for each of her timetabled subjects.  Work or assignments will be set by each of her teachers. Your daughter should complete the work set in the course of the day, according to her normal timetable. 

The school and the grounds will be closed with no access possible.  We ask that everyone follow the guidance given and stay indoors and stay safe.

With the improved weather conditions, we kindly remind you that students are expected to attend school in full uniform.

Should there be any changes in the future, we will promptly communicate them to you.

The school will now open at 11.00am tomorrow morning.  Students are asked to attend their tutor class at this time. This decision has been made owing to deteriorating weather conditions overnight.

A reminder also that the school is closed to students on Friday to facilitate a staff training day. 

Please exercise caution when travelling by car, public transport or by foot as conditions may be very slippy, due to the low temperatures. 

A message will be sent to anyone who avails of the school bus with an new pick-up time. 

Thank you to everyone for your co-operation regarding traffic around the school this week.  Extra caution should be taken at the turn into Springfield park from the N11.

 3rd Year Winter reports are now available to access on Vsware. Results are based on continuous assessment of students’ work. Your daughter’s subject teacher will have explained the criteria for the grade (ie what pieces of work, tests etc the result is based on).
