Chinese New Year Celebrations

To celebrate the end of the Chinese New Year, the canteen will be serving traditional Chinese food on Tuesday Feb 15th. We would like to remind our students to bring in their money to buy their break or lunch and join in the celebrations in the canteen. Our Student Council are decorating the canteen and corridors and we hope to bring some colour and joy to our school community.

To facilitate Staff training the School will be closed on Monday, 14th February for all students except 6th year students sitting the following Mock exams Accounting, Art and Physics.
Candidate Self Service Portal LC 2022

As a matter of urgency all 6th Year students must log on to the online student Self Service Portal and check that they are registered for all of the subjects and levels they will be sitting in June 2022. It is essential that students register today in order to facilitate the uploading of coursework for which deadlines are imminent. This portal will close tomorrow, Friday at 5.00pm.

Well done to our MInor A Hockey team who did the whole school proud in Tuesdays Leinster Cup Final,. They lost 2-1 to Muckross but gave their supporters plenty to cheer about. Thank you all the parents, grandparents, staff and students who came out to cheer them on, it was a great occasion for the school.
Swimming - Leinster Schools Championships 2022

On Sunday February 6th 9 swimmers from Loreto Foxrock attended the Leinster Senior Swimming Championships in the National Aquatic Centre. This is an annual event which has not taken place for the past two years because of the Covid-19 restrictions, it was great to see the swimmers back in the water after such a long time. Swimmers: Transition year- Siun Brady and Niamh Walsh. 3rd year- Áine O Neill 2nd year- Hannah Mulloy, Alannah Mc Crohan, Ella Solaj 1st year- Jolie Jukic, Elaine Zhang, Elodie Cosgrove Hannah Mulloy came 2nd in both the 100m Butterfly and 100m Freestyle in the 13-14year age group, well done Hannah. Well done to all the swimmers who competed. They all had an amazing day with many achieving personal bests in their events.
