High School Musical Parents Only

Dear Parents,

As we gear up for our TY production of High School Musical, we kindly ask for your help in sourcing costumes over the midterm break. No need to buy new costumes—search through wardrobes at home or borrow from friends!

Please check with your child to find out what type of costume they need. Here are the general guidelines:

  • All Students: Red and white clothes for the finale (e.g., red t-shirt, white skirt, leggings, trousers, etc.)
  • Jocks: Basketball costumes provided by school. Students need white socks and comfortable runners.
  • Brainiacs: Muted colors (brown, beige, green, etc.) Options include shirts, blouses, jumpers, cardigans, pants, skirts, socks, long socks, flat shoes.
  • Skater Dudes: Hoodies, colorful t-shirts, runners/converse, beanies, jeans, knee-length shorts.
  • Thespians/Drama Kids: Colorful clothes, skirts, colorful socks, t-shirts, jumpers, etc.
  • Leads: a separate email has gone out to students with leading roles outlining their costume plan. Please check this with your child.

Please ensure all items are clearly labeled with your child's name and placed in a bag also labeled with their name. Students can bring these items to school for the production team to sign off on.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Leonna at leonnacondron@hcetss.ie.

Thank you for your support.

TY - Saturday 8th Rehearsal

Archived : 13 Mar 2025, 8:40 AM
Dear parents/guardians,

As we get closer to our big show, we have an important rehearsal scheduled for all Transition Year students on Saturday, 8th from 10 am to 2 pm at HCETSS.

This rehearsal will make all the difference in building the confidence of our performers and stage crew, making the show week one they can ease into!

This rehearsal is compulsory for all students to ensure that our performance is the best it can be!

We kindly ask for your support in making sure your child attends this rehearsal on time and with great enthusiasm. Students can also bring a packed lunch with them, or maybe pop into the village during their break with your permission.

We're all so excited to see their hard work come to life on stage!

If you haven’t already, please consider purchasing tickets for the show. Your presence and encouragement truly mean the world to our students and to us as a school community.

Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation.

Warmest regards,

The production team
