Parents Association AGM plus talk on "Understanding Consent"

"Understanding Consent" talk by Margo Noonan SIVUH organised by the Parents’ Association. Tues 9th October at 7.30pm in the school This is a great opportunity for parents to understand the current situation with regard to "Consent". Margo has given a similar talk to other schools and businesses locally. Her aim is to help parents by giving them the 'tools' to talk to their teenage boys about consent. This will help the boys to get themselves out of situations that could potentially lead to undesirable outcomes. The talk will also cover; - Cork and current situation with the subject of consent - Figures for 2017 & trends - Situation for boys in particular - Legal aspects with respect to consent Margo’s talk will be followed by the Parents’ Association AGM at 8.30pm

Congratulations to former students Jack Donovan and brothers Kevin and Alan O'Donovan on their magnificent Munster Final win today over All Ireland Champions Dr. Crokes. Well done to all at Nemo Rangers!
School to reopen

The school will reopen tomorrow Wednesday Oct 18th as per the normal school day from 9am to 1.15pm. Bus Eireann have confirmed that all routes where possible will be back to full service. All extra curricular activities go ahead as planned.

Following direction from the DES, the school will remain closed tomorrow Tuesday Oct 17th. This will also mean the Parents Association AGM and 1st Year Parents Night has been postponed until further notice.

Our 4C class got presented with their mindfulness certs today by Mr.O'Mathuna. They completed a 6 week course run by school chaplain Br.Martin
