Musicals through the Ages

We are delighted to confirm that our school musical "Musicals through the Ages" will take place from the 27th of Feb to March 3rd. 

Rehersals will begin after mid term break.

Our 1st Yr cross Country Runners won gold at the recent marley park cross country schools race. Ava Clarke won gold again, a serious talent!! We also had students in 4th, Eva and 6th, Doireann. 
Very proud of this super talented and hard working bunch of girls. Cross Country is on every Monday after school and all students are welcome to come along and train.

Dear Parents and Guardians, It is hard to believe that Halloween mid-term break is around the corner and hope all the girls are getting to know their way around. Our Senior Hockey A Hockey team have their opening round of the Senior Cup on Wednesday at 3 in Foxrock v Mount Sackville . We would ask as many parents, students and staff to come out and support. All 1st years are asked to stay and support after afternoon sport.

Congratulations - 1st Yr Cross Country Team

A big congratulations to our 1st Yr students who ran in todays Brother Schools Cross Countey Invitational race in Santry. The Foxrock team finished 1st overall, out of over 300 runners and 40 schools. Ava Clarke came 3rd in last weeks Leinster Schools competition in the Phoenix park, with over 250 students competing this is an incredible achievement. We are very proud of them all.

Dear Parents / Guardians, Please see attached timetables for all extra curricular sports and activities. We would kindly ask that you sit down with your daughter and pick out something that might be on intertest to her. It is a great way for students to meet new friends and enjoy the whole school experience. I have attached two copies in different formats, one with a break down on what is on offer and the other a break down of the timetable in a weekly format. If you would like me to help to support your daughter in taking part please email me on jbrock@loretofoxrock.ie and I can help her to make a plan for activities that she might like. I would like to say a big thank you to all our staff for offering their time and expertise, we are very lucky to have such a wide range of activities available. Best of luck to all our students who are taking part in this weekends opening matches of the girls inter pro hockey. Representing Leinster at U16 level are Grace Jones, Isobel Field and Sarah Byrne and at U18 level Rebecca Carthy. Best of luck girls.

We would like to wish our 4 past pupils good luck in the Hockey World Cup currently being played in the Netherlands. Ellen Curran, Christina Hamill, Hannah Mc Loughlin and Siofra O Brien are all part of the Irish Wonens Hockey team taking part. They play Chile today at 1pm on RTE New Now. 4 players from one school is an amazing achievement from a squad of 20.

Congratulations to our 1st Yr Student Eva Munnelly who won gold in last weekends National Athletics Championships in Tullamore. Eva came 1st in the country in her age group in the Long Jump Competition. Eva also won the overall prize for the best long jump of all age categories We are all so proud of her and her incredible achievement.
