Well done to our under 16 1/2 Hurlers on their semi final win over Rice College today on a scoreline of 2 19 to 0 12..
Report
Blackwater CS defeated Rice College Ennis in the semi final of the Munster U-16 1/2 Hurling Championship on Wednesday in Knocklong. Played in tough conditions there was very little to separate the sides in the early stages. However as the first half progressed BCS began to impose themselves and Jack McGrath’s superbly taken goal saw them lead 1-11 to 0-6 at half time. Oisin O’Gorman’s brilliant strike early in the second half stretched the lead and BCS won on a final score line of 2-19 to 0-12. We now face St. Joseph’s Secondary School Tulla in the final next Wednesday.
