Rory Doyle - FAI Schools Centenary Cup Champion

Well done to 5th Year Rory Doyle who has just won the Centenary Cup with the Irish Schools Team. The competition pits the best school players in Ireland and the UK against each other in International Competition. Rory starred for the Irish team in centre midfield for the entire series and today is an International Football Champion.

APP UPDATE - Available in next few days We are excited to be announcing the Launch of Version 3 of our App in the next few days! This update is part of the process of developing our App as a single touchpoint for parents and students to receive and have access to all the information which they need, and for parents to be able to carry out other tasks previously carried out manually or offline. PLEASE be sure to download the update! There will be a number of new features including: Profile Data & Verification - It will be mandatory for you to complete your profile information. For students this will be Name, Year in school & Email (must verify their email). For parents it will be mandatory to complete all the following information - Parent’s Name, Student’s Name, Student’s Year, Mobile (& Verify), Email (& Verify). Please be sure to use the same names, emails and mobile number (parents only) as we have on our internal administration system. It will be mandatory to complete this process to enter the App. This will give the school a greater level of transparency about its app users, make using the new functionality more seamless and permit parents to complete and return forms and information to the school securely. Letters from the trenches

As part of their study of the World War One novel 'Private Peaceul', students from class 1.A and 1.D wrote and designed 'Letters from the trenches'. These letters were written from the perspective of young soldiers fighting on the frontline, and described the conditions experienced for their 'loved ones' at home. The students helped to 'age' their letters and these are now displayed in the halls of the school.
