CAO early reduced fee (€30) deadline is January 20th - apply also for HEAR and DARE schemes

LC2 students must make their application to CAO on www.cao.ie by January 20th to avail of the CAO discounted fee - €30 (if you wait until Feb 1st it will cost you €45!) New CAO courses can be added (once they are not in the "RESTRICTED" category) and the order of preference can be rearranged in the "Change of Mind" facility which will be available to you in May - so don't worry too much - just make sure to get your application in now. "HEAR" and "DARE" schemes- (if you think you qualify) - are applied for now as part of your online CAO application - all information is available on www.accesscollege.ie. Step 1 Tick the "HEAR"/"DARE" box as part of your online CAO application (by Feb 1st) Step 2 Complete the HEAR/DARE Form as part of your online CAO application (by March 1st) *** (you can do Step 1 & 2 together now if you wish - this is probably the best approach as it will give you time to gather your supporting documents together in good time for posting to CAO by March 15th deadline) Step 3 POST your supporting documents to the CAO office in Galway to arrive on or before March 15th. (obtain proof of posting!) SUSI Maintenance Grants are applied for in April 2021 - you will apply on www.susi.ie (Ms. Griffin will provide further information closer to the time) Please note that you may apply for "HEAR" "DARE" and "SUSI" if you think you qualify. Best of luck with your CAO applications.
