This week Junior Students are encouraged to Read for Wellbeing, and we could all take a leaf out of that book (!) and take some time out this week to relax and read. If you usually visit the library for your books you can borrow online at borrowbox.com. Students are asked to take a photo of the book they are reading, placed in their favourite reading spot, and forward it to their Wellbeing teachers - we will include some of these in this year's School Yearbook! Happy Reading!
CAO APPLICATION DEADLINE OF 1 FEBRUARY FAST APPROACHING

Archived : 29 Mar 2021, 12:00 AM
CAO APPLICATION DEADLINE OF 1 FEBRUARY FAST APPROACHING The Central Applications Office (CAO) application deadline is Monday, 1 February at 5:15pm - applicants for the "HEAR" or "DARE" schemes, or those who are thinking about applying for a RESTRICTED course must apply by this date. The process of applying is really straight-forward and is done online at www.cao.ie. HEAR and DARE applicants must then POST their supporting documentation to the CAO office in Galway by 15 March at 5:15pm. Gathering supporting documentation can take some time, so the process should be started now. The CAO website contains a number of guides and supports for applicants in the Student Resources section which should make the application process easy to navigate, including a 'Demo Application Facility' and step-by-step video guides talking applicants through the process of obtaining their CAO application number and editing their CAO account. The CAO Change of Mind facility opens on the 5 May. This facility allows applicants the opportunity to add, remove or change the order of their courses as many times as they like (and free of charge) right up the 1 July at 5:15 pm as long as the course was not in the RESTRICTED category. Applicants are reminded that they should list their course choices in genuine order of preference. To apply to CAO go to: www.cao.ie/ and click on 'Apply'. Best of luck with your application.
