Mount Carmel Girls Secondary School is hosting their 2022 Open Night on Thursday September 15th. Tours begin at 6.15pm with the final tour departing at 7.30pm. We are welcoming 6th class students with one parent/guardian to attend. Prospective students will get a tour around our school to see the wonderful facilities on offer to inform your choice of school for 2023-2024. We look forward to seeing you there.

Today we say goodbye to Mr. Justin Dermody who departs Mount Carmel for a school in his home County of Kilkenny! As our Home School Community Liaison teacher he has worked with many families in our school community. We wish Justin the very best and it is a big loss for our school. However, home is where the heart is!

We endeavor to include our students in the day to day life of our school. Practical pupil participation is at the core of our value system where students can develop and refine their leadership potential.
