You are invited to join us in the school hall this evening from 5:30 - 6:30pm for an information evening. This is an opportunity to meet some of the staff working with your daughter and to hear about upcoming subject choices following your daughter's trialling of our optional subjects.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome back to another school year at Mount Carmel. A special welcome to our new 1st Year students and their parents. We have a group of very enthusiastic 1st year students and we have also welcomed new students into several other year groups. I hope that you will enjoy being part of the Mount Carmel community and will settle in very well.

A huge congratulations to the Leaving Certificate class of 2024 on their excellent Leaving Certificate results. We wish them well as they embark on their next journey. Thank you to their teachers who worked so hard with them during their time in school and to their parents for their support.

The students continue to impress me every day with their enthusiasm and respect. All students have been reminded about the correct uniform and I ask for your support in monitoring this.

We are delighted to have a wide range of afterschool activities on offer this year, from sports to craft and lots more. These activities provide students with opportunities to explore new interests, develop new skills and build friendships. I encourage all students to get involved and take advantage of the fantastic opportunities available to them.

Finally, I would like to thank you for the warm welcome to Mount Carmel. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting with lots of you already and look forward to meeting you all over the course of the year.
