Saturday study - Leaving Certs

There will be a block of Saturday study, every Saturday, commencing this Saturday until the Easter holidays. The cost is 25 euro. Any student interested please bring the money to Mrs Bríd Burke this Friday. Many thanks.

The deadline for return of TY Application Forms is Tuesday at 4.00. Can parents/students ensure that forms are signed and returned to the school by the deadline. TY Selection Interviews to commence this week.

A number of students have yet to collect feedback forms from their recorded interview DVDs earlier in the year. Feedback forms will be released to remaining students when they show that their performance has been assessed in conjunction with a parent/guardian. As the next phase of this module takes place this term with individual consultations with Mr Joe Long, Guidance Counsellor, these forms need to be collected before Monday @ 4.00 to proceed. TYs will have 2 guest speakers on their return to school on Feb 25th. Brendan Monaghan (FÁS) will visit to discuss apprenticeship options at 11.30 Joanna Kiely, Tuam Athletics Club, will visit at 3.20 to discuss coaching options, perfect for those needing to fulfill community hours for Gaisce or JPII Awards

Irish mock orals for Máistir Ó Fátharta’s class takes place on Saturday. Timetable has been given to the students. Students are to be in school at least 40 minutes before the exam.

The Music Performance Examinations 2019 for 3rd and 6th years take place during the two week period starting March 25th. It is therefore essential that all music students practice their pieces during the midterm break. Please ensure that your son practices every day. Thank you. Connie Burke, Music Dept.
