The St Vincent De Paul Hamper appeal has been extended, the last day to bring in food is this Monday 19th December.  Please don't forget to purchase a couple of extra items while doing your shopping at the weekend.  Thank you.

3D Trip to Dáil Éireann and National History Museum

3D enjoyed a trip to Dáil Éireann and the history museum. The had a tour of Leinster House and met with the Taoiseach and a number of ministers and TDs. Thank you to Mr Kelly for organising the outing and to Ms Verdon, who also accompanied the students on the day. 
Leaving Certificate Oral Examinations 2023

The State Examinations Commission has notified schools that the Leaving Certificate Oral Examinations for 2023 will take place in the school during the first week of the Easter holidays, Saturday 1st April to Thursday 6th April inclusive.  Music Practical Performance Tests will take place during the weeks 20th to 24th March and 27th to 31 March 2023.

Euro Languages College Scholarship

Thank you to the many students from 3rd, TY and 5th Year who applied for a scholarship to ELC. The standard of letters was so high and it was clear that students put a great effort into them. Congratulations to Anna Mancini Moore (TY) who has been awarded the scholarship. 
Athletics Meet 7th December

On Wednesday the 7th of December, Holy Faith Secondary School Clontarf and Raheny Shamrocks AC hosted their first Invitational cross-country race in St Anne's park. 
Three races for girls and three races for boys took place, for students from 1st to TY.

TY students from Holy faith marshalled and recorded the results for the races.  Schools from all around North Dublin took part. 

Holy Faith took the team title in all races, including, individual silver for Maggie Foley in the 1st Year 1km race, gold for Sophie Kelly and silver for Freyja O'Carroll in the 2nd Year 2km race. Eileen McCarthy finished 3rd in the 3rd/4th Year 2km race and Aoife Kane helped the team to gold with a last-minute switch from stewarding to racing. 

It was a g reat day. Well done girls and a big thank you to Ms O’Sullivan, Mr Fitzpatrick and our athletics coaches from Raheny Shamrocks - Anne, Tom and Elaine. 
SVP Food Hamper Appeal

A little reminder to pick up a couple of extra food items while shopping at the weedend.  We are back to making up our food hampers for the St Vincent de Paul. Non-perishable food donations can be brought to school and left in the hamper box in the front hall. Donations will be accepted until Friday 16th December. Please give as generously as you can, all donations gratefully received. Thank you

Thank you to all who supported the Christmas jumper day. The Green committee collected over 1700 bottle caps for the sustainability mural.
