TY Carlingford Trip

96 Transition years went to Carlingford adventure centre Monday and Tuesday. They took part in a variety of activities including high rope challenges, kayaking and team building activities. Well done to all the girls for their great humour and full participation. Thank you to Ms Peppard, Ms Halpin and Ms Mc Donald for travelling with the girls

Community Games U14 Girls All Ireland Gaelic Football Series

Best of luck to the students in 1st & 2nd year who will represent Clontarf, Dublin and Leinster in the U14 semi final and, hopefully, final of the All Ireland Community Games Gaelic Football Championship in University Limerick this Saturday, 24 September. This is the second year running that the team have qualified for this stage with 4 of the girls playing last year too.  Hopefully they can turn silver to gold this time round.

Dear parents,

 

There is a free webinar taking place next Wednesday the 16th of November at 7pm called The importance of sleep for our teenagers.  The main speaker is Lucy Wolfe and she will be giving some information and guidance around this topic.  Lucy is best known for the books she has written on sleep for young children, but she has prepared some very useful material specifically for this webinar and the parents of teenagers.

A reminder to First Year parents to inform your daughters of the details contained within the letter sent on the school app regarding the trip to the Botanic Gardens on Monday 19th September.  Please ensure you have completed the consent form and paid the €10 on the school app before Monday 19th September.  Thank you.
Higher Options for 5th & 6th year students

5th & 6th year students will attend Higher Options on Friday 23rd September in the Simmonds Court hall at the RDS.  Students can gather information to make informed choices on CAO and other further and higher study options.  There will be a full programme of careers and information talks.

Tickets cost €10.00 and must be must be purchased in advance through tthe school shop section of the school app.
